Short CV in English:
Painter and graphic artist that uses many different techniques as watercolour, eggoiltempera, intaglio (different graphics techn.) and mixed techniques.

She mostly likes to paint from nature, the daily life and have affection for flowers.
The great tapestry artist Hannah Ryggens work "Mother's heart" has inspired Oksvold to create many works of art in a mixture of intaglio and watercolour where each image gets a unique graphic intaglio / artwork.
Her experience of being a mother with all the joys and sorrows that it brings, is a theme for the rest of your life once you've got children.
Many of Torils watercolours are scratched in the paper that she herself has inflicted on, so that it looks like threads from a tapestry tissue.
"I always listen to many sorts of music, and get ideas and insperation to do my art. Blues is close to my heart, and many works is made from listening to Bluesmusic. I must listen to music every day, - can`t live without it"
Toril G. Oksvold is a teacher in ”Visual Art” at Bjugn Culture School.
Also private pupils at her studio, and arrange courses for pupils with other artists too.
